Gomry vs Ticket Tailor: Booking, Model Context Protocol (MCP) and Agent Checkout

Choose Gomry for recurring Experiences, prepaid class credit and consumer-agent commerce alongside ticketing. See how that differs from Ticket Tailor.

Gomry and Ticket Tailor both support event ticketing and organizer access through MCP. Gomry also provides scheduled Experiences, prepaid credits across selected Experiences and a consumer-event commerce flow. Ticket Tailor includes recurring occurrences, reserved seating, memberships and ticket bundles, with its own redemption and fee rules.

Why Gomry fits venues with classes and public events

  • Experiences for the recurring timetable, with scheduled slots, capacity and host assignment.
  • Bundles for repeat visits, redeemable across selected Experiences rather than treated as a generic event admission.
  • Consumer-event commerce alongside organizer MCP, so customer-facing applications and staff assistants have documented workflows for their different tasks.

Feature comparison beyond the booking page

Ticket Tailor and Gomry both support event sales and assistant-based organizer tasks. Their prepaid products, seating tools and consumer purchase interfaces need separate comparison.

How Ticket Tailor compares

Ticket Tailor’s published scope includes event occurrences, check-in, products, memberships and season passes. Its developer documentation lists MCP tools for events, tickets, orders, discounts, check-ins and membership administration. Look at the operations available, authentication, charges and the purchase flow your integration will use.

Two different jobs for an AI integration

An organizer may want an assistant to build an event, update ticket information or summarize sales. A customer may want an assistant to find something to attend and help buy a ticket. Those workflows use different permissions and have different definitions of success.

Ticket Tailor's published MCP tools make it a relevant choice for the first job. Gomry also supports organizer operations through MCP, including event, attendee, contact and reporting workflows. The comparison should identify the exact task and the resulting record. Check the event or order record after the action.

Gomry also documents event discovery and commerce for connected consumer applications. A selected catalog event can continue into a ticket purchase flow, with the returned commerce state determining what the application tells the buyer. This matters to organizers considering distribution through chat, travel or recommendation applications. It connects a consumer's choice to the event being sold, rather than stopping at descriptive content.

Do not infer the full purchase journey from an administrative “issue ticket” operation. The organizer needs to know how money is collected, how the customer receives confirmation and which order the support team will find. The same distinction should guide the evaluation of both providers.

The purchase can use an enabled checkout integration or a link that opens Gomry checkout with the ticket type already selected. Direct checkout access is configured for the connected application.

When scheduled Experiences change the decision

Consider a creative venue selling evening performances and weekly teaching sessions. Performances need ticket tiers and entry scanning. Classes may need repeat dates, host assignment and prepaid visits across a selected group of sessions. A customer may attend both without owning the same entitlement for both.

Gomry supports this combination through Events and Experiences. Bundle credit reserves places on eligible Experiences; a performance ticket remains a separate product. That can make the product model easier to explain when the venue already sells class packs. It does not establish that a Gomry Bundle replaces Ticket Tailor's season pass or multi-admission product in every case.

For a seated theatre or a venue whose central requirement is assigned seating, give the seat-map workflow its own weight. For a studio whose main requirement is prepaid attendance across scheduled classes, give credit eligibility and the customer booking account more weight. The comparison should reflect the venue's actual mix of sales.

Compare the invoice and the front-desk workload

Per-ticket charges and percentage-based charges behave differently as ticket values change. Calculate the cost of the same low-price class, standard event ticket and higher-value workshop. Include processing separately. Ticket Tailor charges one credit per ticket issued through MCP, including free tickets; include those issues separately from ordinary checkout sales. A headline fee is not a complete estimate when staff issue tickets outside the ordinary checkout.

Then look at operating time. A cheaper sale can still create extra work if staff must reconcile prepaid balances or copy customer details between systems. Conversely, migrating to a different product model may create work that a mature Ticket Tailor setup has already eliminated. Use actual order types and staff responsibilities to make the trade-off visible.

What should a pilot include?

Run a paid order, a complimentary admission, a cancellation and a door check. If classes are part of the decision, add a Bundle redemption on an eligible Gomry Experience. If external assistants are part of the decision, perform one supported organizer task and one consumer purchase journey. Keep these as demonstrations to complete; a feature table is not evidence that the full workflow has been tested in your account.

Compare the documented offers

Official sources checked September 18, 2026. Ticket Tailor's displayed pricing used GBP; do not compare that figure directly with a USD quotation. Its calculator varies by currency and credit quantity.

Use Ticket Tailor's pricing for your currency and volume. A business selling event tickets alone may have no reason to change. Test Gomry when scheduled Experiences and prepaid class credit are central to the offer; Bundles do not cover one-off Events.

Do not migrate simply for a feature label. Reconcile the current event, orders, refunds and attendance exports first. The small-business ticketing checklist helps compare one complete event.

Agent-readiness assessment

Gomry scored 100/100 on Is Agentic and 91/100 on Ora in the assessments of gomry.com recorded on September 17, 2026. Is Agentic is powered by Ora and uses a different scoring model. The assessment details explain the scores and dated platform comparison.

Choose Gomry when the venue sells more than event admission

Build the recurring class offer in Gomry Experiences, define eligible Bundle credit and keep public event admission separate. If consumer-agent purchasing is a priority, add that specific event flow to the evaluation alongside the organizer MCP tasks.
