A yoga studio needs software that makes its offer easy to understand: what a student can attend, what they have paid for and how to book their next class. Gomry is a strong fit for studios selling flexible class visits and public workshops to the same audience. It combines scheduled bookings, prepaid packs and separate event tickets with customer purchase and attendance history.
The alternatives depend on how the studio teaches and earns revenue. Momoyoga focuses on yoga classes and student purchases. Mindbody combines studio operations with a consumer discovery app. Arketa and OfferingTree are relevant when paid recorded content is part of the offer. A studio selling mostly live attendance has a different buying decision from a teacher replacing a website, video library and booking tool together.
Compare the options
| Software | Main reason to consider it | Important distinction |
|---|---|---|
| Gomry | Live classes, shared visit packs and public workshops | Recurring memberships are not the same as the available prepaid packs. |
| Momoyoga | A yoga-focused mix of classes, passes and memberships | Live online attendance differs from access to recorded courses. |
| Mindbody | Studio administration plus consumer-app discovery | Separate the value of direct bookings from marketplace acquisition. |
| Arketa | Live teaching and paid recorded content | Include content access when comparing the complete configuration. |
| OfferingTree | An instructor’s website, booking and digital offer | Price the website and content requirements with the booking tools. |
| Punchpass | Class timetable and waiting-list policies | Choose between waitlist notification and automatic enrollment deliberately. |
| Momence | Classes, appointments and fixed courses | Course enrollment differs from flexible visit credit. |
| TeamUp | Class-led plans with coaching and workshops | Specify which purchases include which activities. |
| bsport | Member and instructor administration | Include payroll and staff workflows if reception relies on them. |
| WellnessLiving | Front-desk records and staff administration | Forms and payroll are separate needs from customer booking. |
| Eversports Manager | Studio tools and marketplace discovery | Direct sales and marketplace reach have different roles. |
| Walla | Studio operations and customer re-engagement | Attendance history alone is not a predictive retention product. |
| fitDEGREE | Scheduling with a member community | Distinguish staff customer records from conversations between members. |
| Bookwhen | Sessions and course registration | Pass and membership availability depends on the plan. |
| ClassPass | A separate marketplace acquisition route | ClassPass does not replace the studio’s direct operating system. |
What a student should be able to understand before paying
A drop-in buys one attendance. A pack buys a balance to use later. A renewing membership may grant a number of visits per period or another entitlement. A course can reserve a place across a sequence. These offers may appear on the same timetable, but the student should never have to guess which purchase covers a class.
For a studio with slow-flow, vinyasa and occasional guest workshops, decide whether the pack includes every regular class or a selected group. Make workshop eligibility explicit. A student buying five visits should know whether the guest workshop uses one of them, requires an additional payment or is a separate ticket entirely.
Full classes, cancellations and expiry
When a class fills, a waiting list needs a clear policy. Notification gives students a chance to claim a place; automatic enrollment may make a reservation on their behalf. The purchase balance, booking cutoff and cancellation rule must agree with that policy. Ask the shortlisted provider to show the last-place booking and subsequent cancellation using the studio’s actual offer.
Expiry also needs to be visible before purchase. A remaining balance does not necessarily mean every future date is eligible. Carry these terms forward when changing platforms, so existing students retain the visits they were promised.
Where Gomry fits a yoga studio
In Gomry, regular classes can be scheduled through Experiences, with time slots, capacity and hosts. A Bundle can cover one activity or a selected pool. Students sign in, choose an eligible date and redeem credit when booking. Buying the pack does not itself reserve the class; the later booking consumes available capacity.
A guest workshop can be sold as a separate Event. Contacts brings purchase, attendance and message history together, so the studio can understand the relationship across that first workshop and subsequent class visits. The pack remains a defined purchase with eligible activities and an expiry. Existing buyers retain their purchased terms if the studio stops new sales.
This is a practical fit for live teaching and flexible return visits. Gomry’s Memberships page currently says “Coming soon”; available prepaid packs should not be described as automated recurring memberships. A paid video library also requires its own supported content delivery.
Choose around the teaching model
An independent studio with mostly live classes: compare Gomry, Momoyoga and Punchpass. They warrant consideration for different reasons: Gomry’s class-and-event purchase model, Momoyoga’s yoga-focused offer and Punchpass’s timetable and waiting-list behavior.
An instructor selling classes and recorded courses: compare Arketa and OfferingTree first for the digital-content requirement, then determine how live booking fits. Access to a video already purchased must survive a change of booking platform.
A studio with substantial team administration: include Mindbody, bsport and WellnessLiving. Staff responsibilities, payroll or customer forms may matter more to the decision than the appearance of the public calendar.
Compare the cost of running one real month
Use the same month of business for each proposal: paid class bookings, active plans, staff users, payment volume and the messages the studio actually sends. Include the applicable subscription, payment charges and any required app or marketing module. Separate fees paid by students from costs absorbed by the business.
If a marketplace supplies new customers, measure that contribution separately from the booking system. A lower software fee is not automatically a lower acquisition cost. Conversely, customers arriving through the studio’s own channels should not be counted as proof of marketplace value.
Questions yoga studios often ask
Can a class pack cover more than one class type?
In Gomry, a Bundle can apply to a selected pool of Experiences. The studio defines eligibility and the balance is shared across that pool. A separate Event ticket remains outside those credits.
Is online yoga the same as selling recorded courses?
No. Live online attendance takes place at a scheduled time. Recorded content requires access to material after purchase. Momoyoga documents online and hybrid classes; Arketa and OfferingTree explicitly address paid digital content.
What needs to move when changing software?
Move future reservations and remaining visits with their eligibility and expiry. Treat recurring payments and purchased digital access as separate obligations. A list of student names does not describe what those students are entitled to receive.

It is relevant when reception needs to handle several parts of a visit, such as registration information, payment and a booking adjustment.
Eversports Manager
Eversports Manager provides booking, team and customer management, invoicing, and reports covering bookings, vouchers and payment methods. Its app and website add a consumer marketplace where people can discover and book activities. Customer groups and automated emails support follow-up.

Choosing your shortlist
For a live yoga program with flexible packs and public workshops, start with Gomry and Momoyoga. Add Arketa or OfferingTree when recorded teaching matters, and Mindbody or bsport when the staff operation drives the decision. The best choice is the one that preserves the student’s purchase from payment through attendance.
